Opened in Winter 2018, Julep is a Southern sophisticated restaurant that honors the history and traditions of southern hospitality while featuring local foods and produce. Kyle and Katy Foster, the husband and wife duo that own Julep, both grew up in the South and wanted to bring their “family to table” traditions to Denver. The parents of two small children, Henry and Lucy, Kyle and Katy believe that gathering around a table for a meal together is an important family ritual. Before opening Julep, the couple traveled throughout the South – Louisville, Kentucky; Charleston, South Carolina; Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee; and Dallas, Texas; to name a few – to find inspiration for the new restaurant and its menu.In addition, Julep features a full bar a with a focus on American whiskey, as well as classic southern cocktails.
Located at 3258 Larimer Street in Denver’s ultra-hot RiNo neighborhood, Julep serves lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday as well as brunch on the weekends and offers a mezzanine with views looking into the kitchen as well as a large patio overlooking Larimer Street.
